University of Anbar hosts the second regular meeting of the Deans' Committee of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences

  University of Anbar hosts the second regular meeting of the Deans' Committee of Colleges of Education for Pure Sciences

  Under the sponsorship of the honorable  President University of Anbar, Prof Dr. (Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda), and under the supervision of the honorable  Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof Dr. (Abdul Rahman Salman Juma), the second periodic meeting of the deans of the colleges of education for pure sciences in Iraqi universities was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the University of Anbar. The event began with the recitation of sections from the Holy Quran, followed by the playing of the Iraqi national anthem and a recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of Iraq's martyrs. Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Shua'a, Chairman of the Committee, then delivered a speech in which he emphasized the Committee's academic efforts and its role in developing higher education. He highlighted the importance of the Bologna course as a strategic shift in academic programs and invited attendees to submit their proposals to ensure its success. For his part, the honorable  Dean welcomed the attendees, stressing that this meeting represents an opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance the academic process. The attendees discussed several important topics, including: discussing the admission of graduates of teacher training institutes and applied arts preparatory schools into educational qualification programs, amendments to postgraduate curricula (master's and doctorate), as well as the establishment of a doctoral program in life sciences at the University of Kirkuk. The mechanisms for implementing the Bologna course for the 2025-2026 academic year were discussed. The honorable  university president attended part of the meeting and expressed his pleasure at hosting this scientific event. At the conclusion, the committee members were honored with certificates of appreciation, and a commemorative photo was taken to document this fruitful scientific meeting.
